Are you interested in a two-piece or one-piece leather suit?
On this page, you will learn everything about the subject – from material selection to safety standards and individual customization options.
Each of our leather suits is made to your measurements and wishes and meets the highest safety standards.
Perfect for tours and everyday rides. Jacket and pants can be worn separately.
Maximum safety for the race track. Optimal aerodynamics and freedom of movement.
The most important thing about a custom suit from us is not only the perfect fit, but above all your safety that we guarantee.
During production, we follow the European ISO DIN 17092-2 standards and use only tested protectors and armor with CE certification.
We don't skimp on leather, we only use selected materials of the best quality.
We process cowhide with a thickness of 1.4 mm and kangaroo leather with a thickness of 1.2 mm.
Kangaroo leather is significantly more tear and abrasion resistant compared to cowhide:
130% more abrasion resistance and 100% higher tear propagation resistance.
At the same time, it is 30% lighter.
The leather we process is hydrophobized: In an elaborate impregnation process, the leather fibers are coated.
This makes the leather water-repellent without losing its breathability.
All fall-relevant seams on our leather suits are provided with a safety seam, which means that each seam that holds two leather parts together consists of at least three to four individual seams.
Zippers are the biggest weak point, which is why we only use high-strength YKK metal zippers.
Every leather suit includes our knee and elbow sliders in any desired color. The knee sliders can also be individually designed.
Perforation can be done at any desired location. It doesn't matter whether we perforate the entire leather or just a single spot.
We also naturally install interior pockets so that your phone and important documents can be stored.
A second zipper on the calf is also included. This way, you can decide whether the leather suit should go over or into the boots.
If interested, a drinking system can be installed. It sits in the hump, can be quickly inserted, and has a 2-liter capacity.
Two-piece suits have a removable inner lining. If needed, it can protect against the cold in winter or absorb sweat in summer.
If you have read the information above carefully, you can now imagine what a custom-made leather suit can look like after a fall. Tear-resistant materials and precise workmanship form the foundation for maximum protection in an emergency.
In our example, we have a leather suit from a customer who had a stand-up wheelie fail (Picture 1). At around 70 km/h, he flew from about 1.5 meters height onto the asphalt. After sliding several times, he came to a stop, got up, picked up his motorcycle, and rode on.
Apart from faded color and some scratches on the leather suit, nothing happened to the rider thanks to our protectors and armor. The leather, the triple/quadruple safety seam, and the integrated protectors performed their task perfectly. A prime example of the quality of our custom-made leather suits.
The same customer had another fall with his Racecoat leather suit 3 years later (Picture 2). This time on the race track during a highsider crash at a speed of 185 km/h. This time too, the leather suit was able to optimally protect the rider, and he still uses the suit today.
